6th Grade Homework and Tests
Vocabulary
First ten vocabulary word flashcards from Unit 11 #1-10 are due Tuesday May 14th. Flashcards must be complete.
Unit 11 vocabulary words #11-20 are due Tuesday May 21st.
Unit 11 workbook Thursday May 30
Students in 6th grade must read four books in the first trimester. They will also submit a summary for each book.
Students will read five books in the next two trimesters and submit summaries.
All summaries for trimester 3 are due Thursday May 30th.
Grammar workbook Exercises are due Wednesday.

Reading Homework All Year
All 7th and 8th grade Middle School students are to read a minimum of six novels each trimester. Students will write summaries of the novels.
All 6th grade students are to read a minimum of four novels the first trimester and 5 novels for the remaining trimesters. Students will write summaries of the novels.
Summaries are to be approximately one hand written page front and back (1/2 a page typed in 12 font).
Larger books count as more books towards the required reading. Please see the chart below.

up to 99 pages 1/2 book
99 to 200 pages 1 books
201 to 380 pages 2 books
381 to 500 pages 3 books
501 - 4 books
This page must be stapled to the front of each summary for the required trimester readings.
